posted by: librarianguish (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:20 pm) Thanks for taking a stand for decency amongst bloggers! I agree it's getting pretty nasty out there. I may take you up on your challenge, but in the meantime I did write a post a couple of days back about why I'm voting for Kerry. I encourage you to check it out. Cheers! posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:29 pm) Reply to: KRAZEDONE Sure, they can be funny. But they detract from the purpose of political discussions. And there are more productive ways of being funny, I think. :) posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:30 pm) Reply to: librarianguish Thanks, I'm glad to see someone is actually writing real blogs these days. :) posted by: angiekruger (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:36 pm) i will take you up on that. itll all be over in a couple of weeks one way or another. this election is just so close and (many of us feel) incredibly important. it was bound to get like this. posted by: SpyMaster (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:37 pm) My dear, DragonBait22-- you failed to mention SpyMastr, stolen from my tBLOG ID. It all started when flipsidown started mimicking flipsidedown and then CheckItQut started mimicking CheckItOut. Don't you think a little quid pro quo is appropriate? posted by: SpyMastr (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:38 pm) The Bush is a Nazi baiters on the left had swamped the forum with filth. Once the election is over, niceties might resume. Meanwhile, get some laughs. I am. posted by: jesusisangry (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:41 pm) You make some good points. posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:43 pm) Reply to: angiekruger I agree that emotions are running high as the election gets closer, but that's no excuse for such extreme immaturity, in my opinion. I'm looking forward to reading your blog. :) posted by: newbie (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:45 pm) Reply to: SpyMastr You only get laughs because you are an asshole: flipsidown, CheckItQut, Reducto, Noguru, and all of the other clone names you've adopted. You are the one posting filthy slimy lies about Kerry while supporting a mass-murderer Bush, and you call yourself a "christian". LOL! posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:45 pm) Reply to: SpyMaster "Don't you think a little quid pro quo is appropriate?" No, not really. Fighting back by sinking to the same low level is actually worse than the initial attack, I'd say. I hope you'll join in on the challenge I've presented. :) posted by: A Friend (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:46 pm) Reply to: DragonBait22 I think you should suggest that all clone-names: flipsidown, CheckItQut, SpyMastr, and all those on the left too be boycotted! Until that time, it will get worse until Nov 3rd, methinks. posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:47 pm) Reply to: SpyMastr Yeah, I got sick of the "Bush is a Nazi" fallback rhetoric long ago. But still, that's no excuse for extreme immaturity. I know you guys are all more than capable of writing real, insightful blogs. posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:48 pm) Reply to: newbie See, this is precisely what I am talking about. There was absolutely nothing insightful or even interesting in this comment, just hateful attacks. Come on, we can all do better than this. posted by: nuguru (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:51 pm) I've gotten lots of tmail saying they love me. I've gotten nearly 200 hits since yesterday! posted by: therealspartacus007 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:56 pm) Yea, this reminds me of Jon Stewart on Crossfire a few days ago. This crap partisans spew doesn't help their position and it doesn't help America. I've had my ideas challenged and changed for the better by blogs here, but not one of those did it by telling me how my views were by Nazis, non-Christians, people who can't catch a football, communists or fascists. I honestly don't understand the point. (beyond hilarious entertainment value) I'll take you up on your challenge soon. posted by: An Admirer (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (8:58 pm) Reply to: therealspartacus007 Sorry, but in Bush's case the word "fascist" is not too strong. Indeed, eminent scholars, historians and political analysts use this word to accurately describe the type of leader he is, and that "fascism" is indeed on the rise in the USA. posted by: WhyNot (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (9:03 pm) Yeah, I know what you mean - I hardly post nor even check tBlog any longer. Yesterday, I posted something about this place turning into a circus, as well as a funny post about stem cells: the circus one got lots of attention, but the stem cells one ignored altogether. Makes you wonder what's attracting ppl's interest. Oh well... what do I care in view of where I live anyway. Je crois que je vais créer un blog appelé DragonBait23. Qu'est-ce que tu en penses, mon amie? :-) posted by: librarianguish (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (9:08 pm) Funny to see how quickly the comments digressed even here. I wonder who these people are that find it so necessary to be hostile and immature. As you mentioned, it serves absolutely no purpose towards intelligent discussion, where people can learn from each other. I'm also in agreement - hitting back the same way is inappropriate. It makes both sides look bad. It's better to ignore them rather than lower oneself to the same level. Negative energy only breeds more of the same, and frankly this country doesn't need anymore of that. Blessings to everyone! posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (9:13 pm) Reply to: WhyNot Hmm, yeah, I guess if the nonsense is what people around here prefer reading, that's what will be posted. I personally am hopeful that everyone here can grow up and actually write something worth reading. "Je crois que je vais créer un blog appelé DragonBait23" Lol, pourquoi pas? ;) posted by: WhyNot (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (9:42 pm) Reply to: DragonBait22 "Lol, pourquoi pas?" Touché! But sérieusement, pourquoi pas indeed? On pourrait y travailler ensemble. Mon blog préféré est celui de BlondeSense, et c'est en fait 3 filles qui le partagent. BlondeSense n'est pas sur tBlog (see my blog to get the link - speaking of links I remember you whining about me not linking you... so I did..... but.... where is ME on your page, huh???? :-) Anyway, where was I - gee, do you realize it's 3:40 in the fuckin' morning out here, girl? Oh yeah, BlondeSense's blog: not only very well put together, very interesting/informative/entertaining, but an insight in what readers IQ is, compared to tBlog. She always gets tons of comments (and rightly so), so pick any topic and check them out: you'll find the people there are adults with a brain instead of the.... whatever you wish to name them here. Réfléchis (does it take an "s" at the end?) à mon idée: with your brains and my looks, on pourrait faire un killer blog! posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (9:52 pm) Reply to: WhyNot Hmm, peutetre ce n'est pas un bad idea. Could be interesting... Although, I'm not too sure about the brains/looks thing. :P posted by: DragonBait22 (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (9:53 pm) Reply to: librarianguish "Funny to see how quickly the comments digressed even here." " Assurez-vous juste que vous mettez l'abondance du lubrifiant dans cette motocyclette ;)" Absolument, mon ami: I religiously change my "moto's" oil every 3000 km (~ 2000 miles). The poor old thing clocks near 100,000 km, but I intend to keep it going some more. Ok, well, till next time. I'm afraid tBlog is not grabbing my interest any longer, but I'll try to check it out once or twice a week and post some light hearted satire for those who like to smile. posted by: name (reply) post date: 03.05.06 (12:00 am) [url=http://jimmytherighteous .tblo...] posted by: yahoo (reply) post date: 03.05.06 (12:01 am) [url:www.yahoo.com] posted by: Cash Advance (reply) post date: 04.16.06 (10:05 am) Great reading, glad I found you. posted by: Pay Day Loans (reply) post date: 04.18.06 (8:28 am) Nice blog you have. posted by: Payday Loans (reply) post date: 04.19.06 (7:09 pm) Enjoyed my visit to your blog today. posted by: Online Personal Loans (reply) post date: 04.20.06 (6:54 am) Awesome blog you have going on. |
